I agree with wormwood and I think it's baffling this belief that everyone should be maximum covered up. I believe the exact opposite, the human body is way too sexualized, and therefore prudified, to the point where people are now disgusted or disturbed seeing each other without clothing. Why? It's ridiculous. I want to be able to be topless, I want anyone to be able to be topless. There should not be some weird culture where people are revolted seeing human bodies. If someone is so pale that they need protection from the sun via clothing, then yes, by all means, cover up by wearing a rash guard or whatever. Other people should not be expected to do so. We can use sunscreen if need be. I'm pissed at the notion that I can't be topless because of men sexualizing women's bodies for so long and making it something taboo. It's bullshit. When it's summer time, it's hot and sweaty, I am pissed that I "need" to wear a top because of stupid social norms. The solution isn't to force everyone to cover up under some flimsy justification of "the sun causes cancer." Lame af.

I can see some merit in at the very least demanding that men cover up as well, since getting them to a point of desexualising breasts again seems too far off into the future. If arbitrary limits are placed on women, and men show no willingness to dismantle them, then men should at least deal with said limits as well. Instead of censoring "female-identifying nipples", censor all nipples.

But outside of letting men have a taste of their own medicine, I find it very prudeish to think that a barechested human body is pornographic, even when it's children. That you can't even work out or lie in a hammock shirtless without it being sexual, just because men will turn anything they see into porn fodder. It never ends.
