Forum Rules & Guidelines - Kozlik - May 29 2024

Forum Rules
Forum rules must be followed. Breaking forum rules results in warnings. Enough warnings result in a temporary or permanent account ban, depending on the severity and frequency of rule-breaking.

  1. No personal attacks, insults, name-calling, etc. Please treat all community members with dignity.
  2. No bigotry. This includes sexism, racism, homophobia, antisemitism, classism, ageism, ableism (including against the mentally ill).
  3. No slurs. This includes misogynistic slurs like b*tch, sl*t, wh*re, and slurs against transgender-identifying individuals like tr**ny, tr**n. (These slurs are automatically filtered, but that does not mean it is "safe" to use them.) The exception to this rule is if a member is quoting text that contains a slur for discussion purposes.
  4. No doxxing. Doxxing refers to public disclosing an individual's personally identifying information (PII).
  5. No promotion of violence. Do not promote acts of violence.
  6. No abuse, harassment, or bullying. Do not abuse, harass, or bully other members.

Forum Guidelines
Guidelines are suggested and encouraged ways of using the forum.

  1. Assume good faith. All community members here have gone through an approval process.  Please assume that another member means well with her thoughts and discussions. We are all here to help further feminist movements. If you feel a member is not participating in good faith, please reach out to forum staff with your concerns.
  2. Remember the human. There is (hopefully) a human on the other side of an internet discussion. Please keep that in mind, that we all come from different walks of life and are doing our best.
  3. Respect is earned, dignity is expected. Showing others dignity means acknowledging that all people have the right to be recognized for their inherent humanity and therefore treated ethically.
  4. Don't be a jerk. That doesn't mean this place needs to be a hugbox. There is a difference between disagreeing with other members and being aggressively combative.
  5. Attack patriarchal structures, not fellow women. Try not to lose sight of the fact most women are having to make choices in their society's patriarchal and unbalanced systems.
