I remember them posting about this site, cekni, and a third one that looks exactly like Ovarit but isn't ovarit... anyone know what I am talking about?

I think you're thinking of vexxed.org.

Last I checked, it's still private and there's no ability for regular members to send out invite codes (yet?). But they were planning on opening it up soon once they figure all the logistics out.
