I'd add more cats, chickens (fresh eggs are the best), and a location that's not in a state controlled by Republicans, otherwise it sounds perfect.

I agree but I also realize that being in Texas is probably what helps them preserve the woman-only status. If they tried to develop a community like this in a blue state, eventually a TIM would demand the right to be part of it and would probably win in court.
I hope the Bird's Nest continues to thrive. It sounds like a great place for women to put certain differences aside and build some actual community.
