“Furthermore, those who, through coercion, deceit, or undue influence, deprive women of this divinely bestowed right must be held accountable under the law and made answerable,” Justice Minallah stressed.

1. He says Godly sacred rights, which means the system where women get half of what men get. The Islamic inheritance system is complicated, in a way that I definitely can not explain but to summarise more or less, let's take the case where there's a wife, and two children, one man and woman. The son will get 50%, the wife 25%, and the daughter 25%. This is veryyyy simplified, because it would take an eternity to explain the whole thing, and it's even worse if you have only daughters, but more or less I'd like it if it were equal at 33%, but maybe a pipe dream.
   

1. This is a case from 2015 resolved in 2025, which means the justice system is rather slow. My mother herself is waiting since 2007, but she never went to court, because how can you take your own family to court? (Her words, not mine, I've always said to drag them to court)
