Real. It sucks to feel like aging normally is somehow not allowed if you want to stay viable in your industry - and I'm not even talking about entertainment, fashion, or other celebrity/public figure worlds.

It's a trap sadly. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Sucks stupid ass.
- Don't participate in beauty culture when old: get treated as even more invisible/shamed because you refuse to conform to female gender expectations
- Do participate in beauty culture when old: well, 1. make aging women become invisible via participating in beauty culture, 2. make young women think "that's how I'm supposed to look when I get older"
