I think she knows she's coming to the end of her playing career, and she's trying to set herself up for a future as a talking head of some kind. Probably on Fox News. She's leading with what might be her least right-wing coded belief, because so many of us across the political spectrum believe the same thing,. But I would stake a lot of money on her being conservative beyond "men in women's sports" and this is her toe in the water to start building her support and fan base. Then we'll see what other beliefs she comes out with.
