PWHL - Professional Women's Hockey League - Possum - Feb 20 2025
Never been much of a sports fan but I've been getting into the PWHL lately. They have past games available to watch for free on their YouTube channel. The games are really fun to watch, fights are banned but it's still pretty physical. Lots of collisions.
A ton of the players are lesbians and Montréal has a married couple (#29 and #7), just an FYI for the lesbian/bi lurkers lol.

Ayyyyeeee I LOOOOOOOVE ice hockey and ive been trying to watch the women's league more instead of just the NHL. Thanks for plugging the channel, I've been meaning to get into this more but you're the first person in my life (kinda, since this is the internet but I see you here often 🧐 so I feel like it sorta counts?) that even knows what the PWHL is.
I wonder why the fights are banned. I'd been going to some women's college hockey games and those ladies really put their heart into it. A lot of those games honestly had more energy than a number of the NHL ones I've gone to.

I understand the concussion risk with punching but maybe they could shove eachother around a bit more or something. I love how physical it is like some of the players go HARD, it's incredible. I've always found sports boring but this is so much fun to watch, I've been getting a bit obsessed. Might have to check out college games if they have similar energy.

Ohhh free games on YouTube THANK YOU!! I've been meaning to watch more hockey and this is just the thing I needed. Bit of a bummer about the fights (especially after the recent glory from that US-Canada game), but I guess I do watch pro-wrestling for a reason 😅
