Quote:It’s been over 1,000 days since more than 1.5 million girls no longer go to school in Afghanistan. In addition to this grim tally, which has serious consequences for the country’s future, there are other increasingly serious violations of the fundamental rights of women and girls in the country.

Quote:Against this backdrop, France continues to advocate coherent, united action by the international community. This should be based on clear principles and commitments. France remains mobilized to meet the needs of the Afghan population, particularly women and girls, in the fields of health, education and food security. We have provided more than 160 million euros in humanitarian aid since 2021, and are committed to relocate the Afghan women in France, through the "Women in danger" provision of the Global Refugee Forum.
