I have followed Kat Shaw for a few years now, and I purchased some goddess oracle cards from her. She is fighting the patriarchy with every nude she paints, and she has had one page after another banned. Female nipples are obscene, don’t you know?
Anyhow, I know that female nudes can be controversial. But her work is in no way pornographic. It is a reclamation of self-love and appreciation for our own beauty against the harsh judgment of a patriarchal society.

Those cards are beautiful! I tend to gravitate more towards traditional Tarot rather than oracle cards, but these are so lovely I might have to purchase a set. 😭

Her art is beautiful! Thanks for posting, I'd never heard of her before. I also tend to prefer tarot over oracle cards but that goddess oracle deck is very tempting.
I love artistic nudes, idc if it's controversial. We're surrounded 24/7 by pornified images, edited images, models with plastic surgery and dangerously low BMI. I think it's healing to balance that out with images that reflect regular, healthy female bodies.

For some reason, oracle cards have always drawn me more than tarot. But yes, Kat Shaw is a woman positive feminist. She does more than just oracle cards, of course. I first discovered Kat Shaw through Girl God Books.
