Holy shit this is grim. Forced birthers basically took over a Planned Parenthood in the south..
Chilling 😕 If I'm not remembering wrong, wasn't the national PP organization facing something like this - to a less severe degree - with a previous president, when Leana Wen wanted to refocus PP on general healthcare instead of on abortion services? That seemed appalling then, but this situation is so much worse.

This is depressing. Though it seems like PP has already been losing the plot when they started promoting gender woowoo services. The rot has already started a while ago. Now the misogynistic pro-forced-birth administration has empowered misogynists across the states to continue the destruction of any organizations that used to promote women's rights to bodily automomy.
Perhaps it is at the point where a new grassroots organization focused on women's reproductive rights needs to be promoted in the southeastern region of the United States. If anything, to light a fire under PPSE's ass to do better for women.
The article mentions at one point how funds have decreased in PPSE, I'm curious if the new CEO and her new staff are looting the organization's funds and making out like bandits. It seems they're getting past "starve the beast" and are now making broth from the beast's skin and bones.
