Health Minister Sophie Lohde Unfortunately, we cannot remove the pain from the women, but compensation helps to acknowledge and apologize for the experiences they have gone through.

Very true. And compensation of $46k USD, ngl, I was surprised to see it was that "high," I guess I am used to pathetic pittance payouts from US lawsuits. Of course, there is no way to put a price on the violation of these women's and girl's bodily autonomy. 💔 It is good that Denmark is at least publicly acknowledging this medical misogyny and racism.
