Article Strict abortion laws since fall of Roe have led to increased infant deaths — not fewer

The study analyzed national CDC data from 2018 through 2023 on a monthly basis. It focused on infant mortality rates both before and after the Dobbs decision, and compared trends such as overall infant mortality and infant mortality among those born with congenital anomalies.
By banning abortion, America’s morality police have only succeeded in killing infants; but it was always a spurious claim that such bans would save them.
This should come as a surprise to absolutely no one with a brain. The only change to infant morality rate with the implementation of anti-abortion laws is guaranteed be an increase in infant morality. For starters, abortions only affect fetuses, not infants. The killing of infants is called infanticide and it is impossible for abortion to cause infanticide. Late-term abortions are overwhelmingly done when the fetus is not likely to survive or has a debilitating disability. By banning abortion, all this causes is an increase in newborns who are unlikely to survive being born and dying shortly afterwards.
This is modern day, practially medieval, torture being done on pregnant women. Forcing women to go through the painful process of giving birth to newborns who will shortly thereafter suffer and die. Disgusting.
