Former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Paula Scanlan says she was forced to compete against an athlete who previously swam on the men’s team.
“He broke records in every single event that he swam and he went on to win the NCAA championship and the 500 freestyle becoming the first women’s team champion in our team history,” Scanlan says.
