I saw one website which had rape statistics from 2010 (USA) according to this site, about 51 percent of women who were raped that year, were raped by an intimate partner, 40 percent by an acquaintance. I'll post the link, here if I can.

No argument here. At the very least, decentering men is the way to go and women need to learn this while they're still girls.
