So for anyone still following/still interested, the mentorship meetings curriculum is as follows:

Exploring Coursera to find courses/programmes that will help achieve educational/career goals
Applying to and attending Coursera classes
Applying for financial aid for Coursera classes
Exploring career opportunities
Writing CVs and LinkedIn profiles
Job hunting, applying for work or scholarships, interviewing
Professional behaviour on the job
Financial life skills

I can definitely help with most of these.

Further update - had my first meeting with the girls yesterday. Quiet, but dedicated and ambitious. We didn't talk much about their lives, or personal things, but I asked them what they wanted to do in the future. Two CS, one teacher, one entrepreneur (wants her own brand, and to run a restaurant), one wants 'a library in New York City', and one wants to be president! I mean, why not - someone has to do it, why not her? Internet connections are really poor, and most are on their phones, with no headset - so I struggled to see and hear them. I'll have to see if I managed to get used to that.

I appreciate these updates. 💗 It's so nice to read about the Afghani girls' future hopes. I believe in that future Madame President. 🙏
