Just posting a thread here to link to some of my favorite reactions to the April 16, 2025 UK Supreme Court decision in For Women Scotland (FWS) v The Scottish Ministers re the definition of woman in the Equality Act 2010

https://www.supremecourt.uk/cases/press-summary/uksc-2024-0042

Mostly I'm posting because I'm enjoying the joy and well-earned satisfaction of the women from and supporting FWS's position on this issue and their happiness is giving me life right now. But also because I'm finding the analyses and discussion from the legal and other experts being interviewed quite informative, particularly re what we can expect to see in the future. I'll be adding to my post as I come across new podcasts/articles. Would love to see your favorites as well, so please post links when you have them.

lmao glorious. Always a sign that TRAs have never watched Joyce debate or read what she's written, because if they had they wouldn't agree to appear on the same program. She will wring you out and hang you up to dry.

I find the whole "woman in the eyes of the law, check-mate!" thing astonishingly tone-deaf, given that the law in so many places overtly discriminates against women. I guess women are just subhuman breeding stock and property of men if the law says so 🤷‍♂️

That is great. Her absolute refusal to back down on language and fact.

(Could someone who is on TwitterX post Joyce’s media interviews from her thread? I can’t see them without signing up)
