How is this making things safer for women? A man went into the restroom and terrorized a GNC woman. It wasn't a TIM who did this. It was a security guard who apparently thinks it's his job to transvestigate.
This happens to me occasionally and I don’t know how much it has to do with trans anything. I generally just say, “I’m female,” in my female voice and the confrontation is over. This happened before the trans craze and will continue o happen long after it’s finally dead.
My experiences have been like OffMyTit's: I just say I'm female and that's it. I do get the impression that my presence sometimes makes women uncomfortable though and I'm not sure what to do about that.
I think this is an issue that will keep happening, especially as more men (either trans-identified or non-trans emboldened by the casual trans violation of female spaces) keep invading women's bathrooms and more TIFs keep taking steroids to make themselves resemble men. The question is what should be done about it. I suggested ID checks if necessary but that was deemed stressful and invasive. But I find going by nothing but superficial impressions, often reliant on the most superficial gender roles, to be even more problematic.
I would absolutely be willing to show ID. I choose not to conform to femininity knowing it causes confusion for many, so I personally am always willing to clear things up. I do not consider it oppression for people to be confused about my sex, or even to be uncomfortable around me. I hate that trans ideology has made everyone blow temporarily mistaken identity out of proportion.
My personal protocol in the women’s is to minimize time spent. I don’t like smelling strangers’ shit. This would be the last place I’d be involved in a makeup routine or conversing with people or otherwise hanging around., and that’s mostly true of others. Anyone hanging around will be subject to snap judgments about why. And in this case, there was an allegation of a man with a woman in the same stall, which proved untrue, but again, why were they hanging around?

This is just what I personally do. I did this even when I was utilizing a walker for most of 2024, which of course was an attention causing device in itself. As a young crone, I understand why women in particular would be concerned about my welfare in a frankly altruistic way, but still it would have been personally humiliating for me to hunch stand in front of a mirror fiddling with my hair and makeup while legit concerned females hung around or made an exit with that face of “should I stay to help?” You get old enough, and you will know that face.
So, in the op situation, we are talking about a person who many women would misidentify as a male. Before the trans craze, all said women would have to do at most is talk. That plus the typical female hand and foot size. While this remains reliable, the issue is that there have been so many issues with Tim’s that outcomes like this happen…and happen to benefit only Tim’s.
If I saw these two walking down the street, I’d likely assume the one was a man. I do have glaucoma, but still. This person probably has to speak to remove all doubt in restrooms which has gotta be humiliating in and of itself. Why all doubt wasn’t removed when anyone heard her voice, I have no idea. If a guard confronted me I’d have him radio his female colleague to meet me in the stall. But seriously I’d prefer to be outta there long before any of this became a possibility.
