This is why it's important to not shut out people who were "the opposition" in the past, just because they were on the other side. They're good at spotting the bullshit, the inaccuracies, etc. because they once said and believed the same things. And they may be good at spotting bullshit and inaccuracies in their new alliances and saying "hey, this isn't the way to go and here's why"
