Hello! This is my first post here, so please bear with me if I do anything wrong lmao.

I’ve noticed, throughout my life, everything popular with women is constantly ridiculed by men. From the tiniest choice to their most intense interest, we are constantly torn to shreds by men for… what reason? That they think it’s “cringe”? It’s unacceptable to them because they don’t like when women are human?

For example, a recent term that has gained popularity on TikTok is the “therians”. Regardless of your personal beliefs on the matter, it’s objective that this is a term used in heavy majority by women and girls. It’s a way for them to be creative and express themselves.

However, this has been absolutely torn apart by men - even coming down to death threats, all because of… women doing something that makes them happy and expressing themselves? No spiritual belief dominated by males has gotten this level of hatred. Christianity, for example, is absolutely dominated by men, worships men, and is made solely for them to lift themselves up, but I don’t see it getting nearly as much hate as women expressing themselves on the Internet.

Another thing that comes to mind is fandom culture, another space heavily populated by women and girls. It’s seen a surge in popularity with the mainstream in recent years, and while it is considered somewhat “normal” to partake in fandom now, many hobbies that are again, mainly enjoyed by women, still have a stigma attached to them.

Cosplay? Writing and fanart made by teenage girls? Going to events? These things are all still mercilessly ridiculed by males, and much more so in fandoms that have women and girls as their main demographic and members.

Yes, makes can throw tantrums and beat their wines when their favorite sports team loses, but stars forbid a woman is a little “too passionate” about a topic she enjoys.

I’m so tired of this.
