Article ICE Has a New Foe: Miscarrying Women in Trump DHS Custody

None of this is new. In July, Sen. Jon Ossoff released the Senate investigation ”The Abuse of Pregnant Women & Children in U.S. Immigration Detention,” which documented widespread mistreatment of individuals in DHS custody including physical and sexual abuse, and pervasive medical neglect of children. The investigation identified 14 credible reports of abuse involving pregnant women alone.
