This is the dumbest most pathetic shit. What "trap"? They reported on a formerly respected government website now hosting crazy revisionist propaganda and they're backpedaling by calling it a "trap"? "Hurr durr I was only pretending to be absolutely fucking unhinged now that you happened to call me out on it." It also reminds me of the thing mentioned by someone about how Trump frequently "jokes" about things before he actually does them -- one of those things is "joking" about cancelling midterms. :/ This feels so blatant. It's meant to exhaust too. Like you get outraged over this "petty" shit (it's not it's fucked up) so that when they get to more serious shit like "joking" about cancelling midterms too many people are too tired to call it out. The goal is to make everyone tired and confused and dull to insanity so they can impose any unhinged thing Dear Leader can imagine.

Of course they are. All "enemies" will be "probed" and harassed and intimidated. My only hope is that we do have elections, we overturn all this insanity, and the harassers and intimidators are the ones who are investigated and brought to justice.

A 2nd protesting US citizen, Alex Jeffrey Pretti, has been murdered by ICE

https://reddit.com/comments/1qmrr5k/comment/o1os2yy

Sensitive-Initial He wasn't a protestor - he was a US citizen and a citizen of Minnesota who was exercising his right to concealed carry in the city and state where he lived and worked.  The US has no federal law prohibiting concealed carry, and Minnesota has a law permitting concealed carry.

He was exercising his 1st amendment right to film federal agents operating in public his home town. An armed ICE agent shoved an unarmed woman to the ground without cause and Pretti tried to help her.

The ICE agents then pepper sprayed Pretti, 6 agents beat him, his hands were on the ground, one of the agents found his gun, removed it. Then, after he was disarmed, incapacitated, blind on the ground, an ICE agent shot him 9 times.

I am a lawyer, I have more than a decade of use of force/constitutional law experience - all defending state and municipal law enforcement and correctional officers. I also worked for 2 years as an attorney for an oversight agency that had original jurisdiction and a mandate to investigate every officer involved shooting in a major us city (more than 2 million residents, force of 10,000+ sworn officers).

I have more relevant experience in this area than Kash Patel, Noem, Trump and Vance combined (as do most attorneys who have spent literally any time practicing law in this area)

This was a lynching - the ICE agents committed murder without any legal justification.

And what the fuck is the deal with Bondi offering to pull ICE out if Minnesota turns over it's voter information?

Pam Bondi's Full Letter to Tim Walz: AG Says Sharing Minn. Voter Rolls Can Prevent 'National Tragedy' https://share.google/dL3FO6TJRrIKLMkK2

It's like blackmail - the federal government will continue terrorizing Minnesota unless the State government turns over its citizens' private data to the Department of Justice. Get fucking search warrants.

This is what tyranny looks like.

The fed is consistently lying about these murders, outright lying about the murdered people having attacked ICE agents, and people are believing it. Did everyone just skip school during the World War II/Nazi Germany section of history class? How do they still defend this?

I guess they defend it because none of "their own" have been killed yet. They don't care if it's brown people, they don't care if it's white people who are liberal or who oppose Trump.

And why is the admin demanding Minnesota voter rolls as part of the deal to withdraw ICE from the state? How is that relevant? I can take a lot of guesses, and none of them have a thing to do with maintaining everyday status quo.
