Do you have kids or grandkids or work with kids or young people? Are you in despair about the pornification of the culture and their inevitable exposure to violent and misogynistic porn? Do you want a space to discuss these issues and practical strategies for how to approach them with kids?
If so, the ‘Raising kids in a pornified world’ online workshop is for you. Facilitated by Helen McDonald, it will outline an up-to-date context of pornography and the sex trade and suggest practical strategies for: having age-appropriate conversations about pornography and the sex trade; encouraging children and young people to speak up if they feel unsafe; and supporting children and young people to recognise the harms of pornography and the sex trade.
