Working as a receptionist in a legal brothel proved to me that prostitution is anything but a normal job. The reality includes:

• Lack of experience is an advantage.
• Porn playing in every room
• Sexual harassment is part of the job
• Racism is rife
• No employment protection
• The women are in lockdown
• Multiple hazards and health risks
• No workplace inspections
• Violence is endemic
