Important new study on torture perpetrated against women involved in prostitution in the US and the long-term impact of this. This table shows the staggering levels of physical torture experienced by the women. Note 100% said they’d been beaten by pimps and punters, 95% had been threatened with death, 93% threatened with a weapon… This absolutely demonstrates prostitution is not a normal job.
