Good. This might be the only way to stay in control of one's own fertility.
I was just thinking about tubual litigation the other day. I have been more seriously considering it. I'm childfree but I never really found a reason to do anything about it, but now I'm like "maybe it's time?" Especially given the current political climate (and literal climate...) Like, even if I wanted children (I never have), why would I think this society deserves children? The world is toxic af rn, in so many ways. I live in a blue state, but after one congressperson's clown act of proposing a federal abortion ban, like... Wtf. I bet the doctors who do sterilization procedures are hella booked out right now.
This is so disturbing that women feel like they need to make this permanent decision whether to have children or not...but yes, it does sound like the right thing to do for the women who make the decision. (And others who know better can tell me, even outwith concerns about availability it's probably healthier in the long run than continuing to take hormonal drugs?) Never took birth control, never had kids, don't need to worry about it now, just to share my own situation.
