Scary. This also means making any fake video is going to be easier than ever.
I never imagined living in a post-truth, post-evidence society, where any evidence can be made up, and therefore any real evidence can be discredit as fake.

"Scary" is really the only thing I can think about this. It's deeply unsettling and I almost want to not even pay attention to it because of how horrifying it is. 😞 I think what depresses me the most is knowing how lackadaisical governments have been about removing actual "revenge porn" or filmed rape already, I can't imagine they're going to care any more when a bunch of deep fakes flood the internet. I think they'll just tell women to "get over it" and this will be just another thing women will have to live with in an oppressive misogynistic society. Sigh.

I'm already seeing people claiming any photos of Trump with Epstein are just AI and not real. One wonders if the big push for AI that no one wanted was for things like this.
