I have always said that feminists would be vindicated but not avenged. Will they now call out the TRAs who nailed rates to doors and incited violence against feminists for the Brownshirt misogynists they are? Probably not. Will they deplatform and ostracize them? And they actually deserve it!

I wasn’t able to read the whole article, which should have said first. Maybe he does plan to go on the warpath against the coddled perverts and mentally ill the way he surely went after feminists, but I doubt it.

I suspect this will be handled like the lobotomy movement and the 80's day-care sexual abuse panic: a general acknowledgement that people were wrong about things, but few, if any, of the main promoters will experience any repercussions.

Yes, i agree that it will be swept under the rug rather than learned from. I believe one of the main psychologists planting false memories in the children’s heads during the satanic daycare rituals panic is now deeply involved in the trans movement. I’ll have to see if I can find her. I watched a documentary on the 80s scandal, which I didn’t know had begun in Italy, and it touched on her part in it all.

From what I've seen, Helen Joyce is a typical straight genderist/bioessentialist woman who advocates for working with the right and maintaining the sanctity of gender roles and traditional family values for women because some old scrotes with big brains told her she wants babies because evolushun (but also it's somehow a problem that young women are not interested in that? What happened to evolushun ensuring we want nothing more out of life but popping out babies?). I guess it's at least refreshing that she's not a religious nut, but it just shows how atheism has nothing to do with feminism when it's just regurgitated from srlf-absorbed scrotes jerking each other off, and how through-the-floor the bar is set with any sort of trans-related debate where you're suddenly a master of debate just for recognising that humans and clownfish are different species.

I appreciate that women have managed to ensure this barest basic of protection for human rights, but the fact that this would be impossible to do without advocating for genderist systems that lead to mass abuse of women is fucking depressing. It always seems to be either "Women don't need protections because they're just hysterical misandrist liars hallucinating all that patriatchal violence" vs "Women need to live in separate spheres because that's the only way male property can remain unsoiled by other men's virile pursuits.". The concept that gender as a whole needs to die a slow and painful death seems impossible to sell even after all these years.
