Icy_Jeweler_2345 No seriously, like yesterday I was having a conversation with this guy I’ve been interested in and he went on a rant about how trans people shouldn’t be in sports or the bathrooms they want. He then proceeded to make racist comments about black people, justifying saying the n word & then defending israel. I got grossed out so I just left his house and we haven’t spoken since.
But this isn’t the first time this has happened either, when people say younger men are becoming conservative they’re correct and it’s been like this since middle school actually. The guys in my school would always make the most racist, homophobic, and especially misogynistic comments and “jokes”, or they would say disgusting things about SA and children. It always just them trying to be edgy but it was so uncomfortable being around. I remember it was normal to tell girls to go back to the kitchen and call us “dishwashers.” Or say that we couldn’t play video games or call us angry feminists.
And now that I’m 18, and still the same, in fact probably worse because the guys I talk to have admitted that they would’ve voted for trump. When I was mutuals with them on tiktok and other platforms they would repost videos of Andrew tate and those other red pill podcasts, or they have instagram pages just dedicated to hating minorities and women. They’re just an incident of college guys protesting against women’s rights and screaming “my body, your choice.”
Like honestly, I literally am scared to date now because of guys like this, so many of them are like this and even the ones who hide it and come across as nice. I genuinely want a boyfriend but I don’t want to date any guy who thinks I literally shouldn’t have rights, or that any minority shouldn’t. I don’t want to date an incel but it’s like what to do?

(Jan 10 2025, 11:58 PM)noray It's really common, another thing you see happen is that a lot of guys on dating sites put themselves down as politically moderate or apolitical because of the fact they know it puts women off.Blows my mind how pathetic men are just because they're desperate to get sex from a woman.
