The video is probably the most bizarre thing I've ever seen from Trump. The description doesn't do it justice. I saw it lastnight and assumed he'd been hacked by whoever did the toe-sucking video hacks (the video really seems like a satire. golden idols? bearded belly dancers? shirtless poolside Netanyahu?) but there's been no statement so I guess it's sincere. I have no idea what the endgame of this is. Agitating Muslims on purpose in the hopes of triggering a second 9/11? (which will then be used as casus belli to send more troops in?).

I'm starting to feel like I went into a coma sometime around Gamergate and all of this is a dream. The world is absurd.

Jeez, I hope not. Some people have been claiming it’s a distraction from Republicans voting to cut Medicaid. I wish I were more shocked by it. Maybe the horrible AI UK Labour Party video with the rape gang lyrics already desensitized me? But the reactions of his supporters saying that he’s just trolling, like gtfo. Or the ones saying that they voted for Trump but they didn’t vote for this inhumanity lol as if they really expected Trump to be humane.

I was thinking of posting about this last night, but I wanted to see if the women on ovarit said anything first. During the Olympics, some of them were having a meltdown because they thought the depiction of the Feast of Dionysus was mocking the Last Supper. I’m pretty sure idolizing someone with huge golden statues and figurines would be considered heresy in Christianity, but they haven’t rushed to ovarit to express outrage over it. Not surprising. And I suppose Trump can be "woke," portraying bearded belly dancers with female-looking bodies in the video, and they’ll just ignore it. Also not surprising.

We’re only 38 days in…. A decade ago, I never would have imagined this level of degeneracy from a president. He really made a video of himself dancing with a scantily clad woman, who's not even his wife, and portraying his plans of turning a war zone into Las Vegas. He hears "Gaza Strip" and probably thinks "Vegas Strip," just like he hears "asylum seekers" and thinks "insane asylum," and then rants about immigrants being like Hannibal Lecter. This is the man who can authorize a nuclear attack. We're doomed.
