Pedestalization of women. Lundy Bancroft talks about this in Why Does He Do That?. Like this article points out, people frequently think "abusive men" and think "violent" and don't realize that in the same way violent men don't view women as human, instead merely objects to abuse, the "nice guys" similarly view women as objects to pedestalize (and then abuse when they refuse to be a perfect porcelain doll for them). Both these types of misogynistic men don't view women as human, that is the core problem.
