Discussion Women in the Global South should militarize while women in the Global North should provide tools of resistance
TLDR: There is an (un)intentional imperialist agenda when feminists in the Global North criticize mysoginistic practices in the Global South such as hijab, e.g., when documentation of the genocide of Palestinians became widespread news, many "radfems" advocated for it since "hijab = oppression, therefore good riddance".
Claiming to "hate both things" ignores the geopolitical fact of how the West dehumanizes Islam to justify interventions in the Middle East, moreover how the West influenced hijab becoming mandatory in the first place by militarizing groups for regime changes to get control over the region (case in point, Afghanistan before/after USA interventions).
Hence, an efficient strategy for women's liberation globally would have those from the Global North focused on providing tools of resistance (achieve a ceasefire in the Global South, transfer money, teach skills useful for warfare) and those from the Global South focused on militarization (formation of armed separatist communities, martial arts training, learn cybersecurity/weaponry handling).

Not surprised Vexxed censored it. I was hoping it would differ from Ovarit, with a new set of people running it, but they haven't even bothered to put up basic rules. You have the same problematic Zionist users who have made it their new home, including one who espoused racist views on Ovarit and never got banned for it. I can't tell if the admins are too busy trying to keep the site going in its first few months or are just cover Zionists themselves, but I'm really starting to think it's the latter.
A Zionist posted about how kids were singing peace songs in Hebrew at some event and “many Muslim parents/grandparents” joined in and how special said event was to her..
I asked if she’d feel the same vibe if said song had been sung in Arabic. I pointed out that the path to peace does not necessarily intersect with human rights.
They do work fast on deleting things.
OP, your question as to what women in the Global South want vs the North is very complicated. Just as one example, take the question of hijab and niqab. Part of the function of wearing both in Europe is so men from your culture don’t see you as a target. Part of the function is religious faith. Part cultural exceptionalism.
