This is so tragic. 😭 I'm just so saddened by how the public reaction against ICE isn't bigger

The comments I see on the Dailymail site regarding this murder are particularly disgusting and so hateful. 😭 There's so many hateful homophobic comments against the woman being a lesbian. So much of the hate on the comment section of that site is from Americans. I wish that the conservative Brits on that site would at least put the idiot MAGA voters and Trump-simpers in their place and tell them to leave the site. As hateful as the conservative Brits on that site are, they don't compare to the nasty hillbilly MAGA Americans there. I probably shouldn't have given into curiosity by checking dailymail for info. :(

Getting shot in the face three times by an ICE officer is a "terrible accident"? Sounds like a murder to me. That woman was executed by Trump's USAmerican Brownshirts.

This video includes multiple shots of footage from different angles (from NYT iirc) that shows the ICE officer was not in danger of being run over... Also warning there is one shot of the mother dead in her car near the end of the clips... This country is a disgrace.

New video came out showing the interactions between Good and the officer right before he murdered her, originally leaked by a right-wing media outfit, apparently because they think it looks exonerating. I don't know how you guys deal with it in America, the talking points on incidents like these are so heartless.

I live in a ruby red small town in a very blue state, and I am an "Other" on several accounts, besides woman-without-a-man.

It is rather terrifying, yes. Especially since I live in what is called a '2nd Amendment Sanctuary City', where open carry is welcome. I see people with guns on their hips anywhere I go.
They need almost no provocation to march around town with rifles/automatic weapons, because someone heard on social media that the big city is bussing out a Venezuela gang, or someone shoots a podcaster. They love to posse/militia parade.

When ICE comes to our town, the non-LEO (but probably them, too) will march hip to hip with them, and their wives and daughters (because this town is conservative trad sexist) will cheer from the sides, and be delighted to point out where any non-Whites live, before going to their Prosperity Gospel maga mega church. 

I never believed in the bs American Dream narrative, but I did not think it would devolve into this, even in my most cynical nightmares.
I hope I can be brave and courageous  when my moment comes.
