The video itself was absolutely horrifying, this poor woman was straight up abducted.

Also hits close to home as someone very dear to me is here on a green card. It’s hard to comprehend what is happening here in the US…

I will never understand the people who think electing Trump because "he knows what a woman is" was worth the complete destruction of the rule of law and due process. Without the latter, it doesn't matter if he knows that you're a woman or not.

As an American, I'm s sickened and horrified by what is happening. I've been participating in the weekly protests at the local Tesla outlets in my area and calling my Congressional rep and senators (all Dems) using the 5 calls app (useful if you hate the phone like I do), but any real accountability for what is happening can only come in next year's elections. The damage that has been done and is being done by the MAGA cult will be immense and in most cases non-reparable. I'm so very sorry that we did not have enough votes to defeat Trump resoundingly.

As a legal immigrant, I try not to think about this. Somehow. While also keeping tabs on ICE's movements in my state.

That has got to be horribly nerve-wracking. I hate this so much for you and everyone else it's affecting.

I have a lot of coworkers who are either Latino or who are brown enough they could be targeted.

I'm in a pretty central state, but I have no doubt they'll come after people here, too.
