Article SAVE Act: House Passes GOP Voting Bill That Could Disenfranchise Millions
Apologies if this was already posted, but the SAVE act which would make it much more difficult for women who have changed their names to vote has passed the House of Representatives. It still needs to pass the Senate - if you haven't already called your Senators to urge them to vote against the bill, I recommend you do this ASAP. The "5 Calls" app for smartphones makes it extremely easy and will give you a script of points to hit, although 99% of time you won't talk to a person, just leave a message - I'm a introvert with social anxiety and I'm calling my rep and senators every other day because this app makes it so easy.
