Just wanted to share this because it's soul-healing to witness the awakening of people who are so dumb that they require touching the stove to realize it will burn them.

Also found the paragraphs on the trad-wife-curious Romanian economist podcaster Alex Kaschuta pretty fascinating.

Quote:The mother of young children, Kaschuta described internalizing tradwife ideas about women’s primacy in the home. When she tried to take on all the domestic labor in her own family, it nearly broke her. She started to realize that while the new right’s racism and misogyny were often delivered with an ironic smirk, it was no joke. she said. As a woman, she said, “you’d have to lean back and just accept that people will belittle you.”

Welcome to second-wave feminism, little one. I'm sorry you had to experience why the second wave emerged first-hand, but maybe now you'll get why feminism is still necessary today (and will probably always be necessary).

I also appreciated this:

Quote:One reason some people reacted so furiously against wokeness is that they felt as if they were being pressured into dishonesty; trans women in sports became a major flashpoint not just because of perceived unfairness, but also because people felt bullied into denying the existence of sex differences.

Yes, genderism is profoundly dishonest and its denial of sex differences and forcing of males into female spaces is straight-up bullying. Predictably, I've already seen one TIM whining about Goldberg's "transphobia".

Anyways, I found it an enjoyable read as the maniacs these right-wing idiots helped to elect continue to destroy the world we all live in.

Oh look, if it isn't the consequences of their own actions.

I'd rather have to share a restroom with a TIM, than have to share a prison cell in El Salvador because I said the wrong thing out loud, but that's just me.

You mean rule of law can't be as important (or even more important) than knowing what a woman is?!? That maybe having the latter without the former doesn't actually ensure that women are better off?!?

I'd say latter (knowing what a woman is) without the former (rule of law) is WORSE for women. Because the one thing that doesn't change is women being targets of violence and oppression. Clearing men and boys out of the way just makes it easier to ensure that actual women and girls are the targets and the victims. Maybe that's why the hard right is so big on "knowing what a woman is."

Louder for those in the back 👏

(Sorry for the low effort post, but this is such a good point that I wanted to give you kudos for it. XD)
