What the hell I thought I misread that such a thing was said on Vexxed but no, I went and checked and there are a surprising amount of comments that are pulling the "well akschually it's ephebehebephilia" Trump card (pun intended) that it almost feels like I was transported back to Reddit during the site's "golden age" of constant pedo-defending via literary technicalities. The fuck. This feels weird as hell.

For me, it's enough to tell me it'll be a place I visit, but not thinking that I'm visiting a feminist forum, but a place like Reddit.

There is a poweruser on that thread with which I have had arguments, and disagreed, but I can respect because she condemns this instead of searching to hide behind technicalities. She's right wing, a lot more than me, but I respect that she is looking at it as a feminist issue

However, those defending it (Some also powerusers), no, if a male politician is more important to you than women, as is the case with Megyn here, and of many in Vexxed, I can't respect that. It's not a feminist forum when there are multiple replies defending it.

I am also angry, because I saw someone saying it's a clip posted out of context for you not to think, and then say what she said in the middle, without saying that she then justifies it again at the end. I've replied to that, but I'm too angry to really post and reply on Vexxed on this topic, minimising and accusing others of not posting the full context is ridiculous

Edit: Btw 38 upvotes, THIRTY EIGHT on someone saying AKSHUALLY ITS EPHEBOPHILIA.... that is just sad. How can a woman upvote that sort of stuff? Maybe it's just my experience, but it's not better if creeps do it in your teen years....

Wow, I was NOT ready to read some of those comments that are not even about Epstein at ALL but veering right into bizarre rape apology behavior. Normalizing teens and minors with men (one saying that teen girls even do it for fun?) And also yes, why the hand wringing about if male culpability in sexual relationships/attraction to minors? What just happened?!

Girls and women reading/hearing other women justifying it just perpetuates and props up the awful societal excusing of men preying on children/underaged women. "Men can't heeeeelllllp it! It is biology! blahblahblah mansplaincakes."

I know good men, but I'd never keep one in my home.

The mods did what they always do: covered the conservative's ass under the guise of "free speech" and locked the thread for "drama" once the feminazis started taking the conservatives' cute harmless little pedantry too seriously, which is just so "mean" and "combatative". ofc we won't single out the feminazis as the only problem, since that would make the conservativism of the mods blatantly obvious, we'll just pretend it was because everyone wasn't being 😁NiCe😁 enough and not holding hands and singing pedo apologia together (even though everything would've been hunky-dory if only those feminazis didn't show up and start causing drama over all the misogyny 😒).
